This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

PlayStation has finally given us a first official look at Resident Evil 4's Seperate Ways DLC which has been in development for a little while now. Best of all, we'll get to play as Ada a lot earlier than most of us probably expected, as the Separate Ways DLC will launch next week on September 21.

For those that have never heard of this DLC, you play through the events of Resident Evil 4 from the persepctive of Ada Wong, as she attempts to hunt down a sample of Las Plagas for Albert Wesker. Just like the base game, we can probably expect a few changes to the actual content of the DLC, but it will be mostly the same DLC as the expansion for the original Resident Evil 4.

Unfortunately, we don't see much of Ada's gameplay, with the trailer instead opting to give us a few cutscenes of Ada interacting with other characters like Luis and watching for Leon from afar. We know that it will function very similarly to the main game, so all of you that have already rinsed Resident Evil 4 will know what to expect, but there will be a few hours of new story content to sink your teeth into at the very least.

On top of that, it was also announced that Resident Evil 4 remakes long-awaited VR mode will be launching on PlayStation VR 2 later this year. Unfortunately, we didn't get a release date for the mode, but it was confirmed that it will be coming at some point this Winter. We did get a bit more gameplay to tide us over until then though, showcasing the opening portion of the game, as well as some swanky gunplay.

As for what else was announced during the State of Play, it was a pretty quiet showing from PlayStation, giving us updates on already announced titles. One of these titles was Final Fantasy 7: Rebirth, which was revealed to be coming out on February 29 next year. Not only that, but we also got to see for the first time that Kait Sith will be playable, as well as our first look Vincent Valentine, even though it was just a brief little cameo.
